Dear friends,

Greetings! We are excited to share the latest developments of all TCP initiatives and upcoming events.

The Future of Cultural Diplomacy

This month, we had the pleasure of having guest speakers Irina Bokova (Professor Sciences Po, former Director-General UNESCO) and Lee Satterfield (Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs) for the final sessions of the Spring 2022 Soft Power & Cultural Diplomacy Study Group. We also had the privilege of having a special additional event, “Cultural Diplomacy and Early Education: A conversation with Sherrie Westin, President of Sesame Street Workshop”. You can find recordings to all events in the link below!

Upcoming Events:

While the Spring sessions of the Soft Power & Cultural Diplomacy Study Group have come to a close, we invite you to join in on two additional events next month!

Jakarta: Triple Threat Academy

We are thrilled to be collaborating with the Jakarta Performing Arts Community (JPAC) on their 3 month intensive online capacity building program, “The Triple Threat Academy”! This program is designed for young aspiring Indonesian artists to connect professional U.S. Broadway artists to mentor and empower local artists to use their artistry to improve their livelihood, address social issues, and shape a more inclusive society. Happy One Year Anniversary to the Hear Her Song Album!

One year ago on March 26th, we released the inaugural Hear Her Song album! We are immensely grateful for all the artists and honorees involved and we look forwards to future rounds of Hear Her Song.
